So….What’s The Point?

Hello again, readers! Welcome back to this humble little blog, even though posts are sorta….sporadic for now. So, you may be wondering, “Camille, what is the point of you starting a writing blog?” Excellent question, reader!

I started this blog as a way to one, showcase my works of writing and such to potential employers and publishers; two, have a way to showcase my podcast alongside my riding (go listen to my podcast here!); three, talk about what it’s like being a writer in college who hardly has time to write; and four, just for funsies!

I have a lot on my mind all the time, and I felt like having both a podcast and blog, lots of my ideas would be spread through both mediums! I will mostly be using this blog to talk about writing, the process of it, some tips and tricks I’ve found, random, non-categorized other….things. For example, I could talk about how I utilize notebooks for writing, or how I use my writer’s notebook on a day to day basis. I want to share my experience of trying to write a novel, attending class, doing homework, attending club meetings, so on and so forth. It’s wild, y’all. I try to make so much time for reading and writing in my day to day schedule, but life throws lots of random shit at you! But yeah. I just want to share my experience with others who may face the same struggles.

So I hope I’ve clearly explained my point as to why I wanted to start this blog! And I would really appreciate it if you sent this to your friends, spread the word about my blog and podcast, and even maybe donate to my Ko-fi so I can purchase my own domain!

Much love, Camille.
